SDCCU Supports Financial Literacy Month with Financial Wellness Wednesdays

April is Financial Literacy Month, in support, San Diego County Credit Union is hosting financial wellness webinars throughout the month aimed at improving financial health.

Nearly 78 percent of American workers report they are living paycheck to paycheck. Hard economic times, especially during the pandemic, have not helped as more people are feeling the added financial stress from layoffs, furloughs, or pay cuts. SDCCU is committed to helping the community make educated decisions by delivering financial education presentations via webinars for attendees to view from the comfort of their own homes.

Financial Wellness Wednesdays topics include:

  • Understanding Credit Reports;
  • Preventing Identity Theft & Scams;
  • Six Steps to Create a Personal Budget;
  • Rebounding after a Financial Setback;
  • Teaching Your Teen About Money;

  • Managing Finances: The Business of Life.
