Survivor Advocates
Our advocates help connect survivors with the information,
resources, and referrals they need to further their own goals.
Survivors of relationship and sexual violence often find themselves
involved in confusing legal proceedings and complicated social service
systems. Advocates help survivors navigate these systems, and make
informed decisions, while providing a supportive and nonjudgmental
presence. Advocates can also provide accompaniment to law enforcement
meetings and court hearings, as well as forensic exams. Please call
858-272-5777 ext. 7150 for more
information.
Shelters provide safe housing for adults and children escaping violence. All residents may choose to access a spectrum of wrap-around services.

Our prevention programs use education as a tool to break the cycle of violence and prevent violence before it happens by empowering participants with the skills and tools they need to prevent violence in their relationships and communities. Prevention and community engagement specialists are available to provide educational programs and workshops for professional audiences, youth groups, correctional facilities, schools K-12, colleges and universities, and the general public. Most programs are free, developmentally-appropriate, interactive, can be done in a series, and are available in English and Spanish. Please email us at prevention@ccssd.org for more information.
The Center for Community Solutions is committed to a client services
