MAAC News Release

MAAC has been able to transform over 70,000 local lives in significant ways in 2019 because of partners and local supporters.

• The MAAC Community Charter School provided 530 students a second chance at becoming high school graduates
• More than 2,000 children and their families were given a head start on their education
• 218 tons of food were distributed to assure that thousands of families would have meals on their tables each night. 

This year, MAAC also celebrated 25 years of providing quality affordable housing to San Diego families and have initiated plans to build more than 1,000 units over the next five years to ensure that many more hardworking families will have access to safe, affordable homes in the years to come.
