The County of San Diego and community partners invite organizational leaders, educators, promotoras, health care providers, caregivers and families to join us for a free Premiere Screening of the documentary film: RESILIENCE: THE BIOLOGY OF STRESS AND THE SCIENCE OF HOPE at Cherokee Point Elementary School on June 21st, 2016 from 12:30pm – 4:00pm.
This local event is a call to action for our communities: How can we in the San Diego region integrate the science of trauma and resilience into our systems, communities, homes, and lives?
Join this national movement that EMPOWERS each of us to understand the science behind how childhood traumas can impact a person throughout their lifetime. Armed with this powerful information, we will follow the film with a panel discussion and brainstorming session about how we can build more RESILIENT INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES.
