Throughout 2017, San Diego Financial Literacy Center is hosting Smart With Your Money Financial Opportunity Clinics in partnership with Live Well San Diego to provide individuals and organizations with guidance and recommendations for their personal finances. Presented by the Foundation for Financial Planning, each clinic offers a unique collaborative opportunity for non-profits, government entities and community-oriented business professionals to provide clear, concise, custom and culturally-competent financial education in a confidential setting. Credentialed financial volunteers provide answers to the most pressing financial concerns of the citizens of San Diego County with all services free of charge. Bringing real, relevant and non-duplicative resources to San Diego in collaboration with other partners in the community is essential to San Diego Financial Literacy Center’s mission.

The first clinic was offered on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Jewish Family Services of San Diego. Clinics will be held at five additional locations throughout San Diego County this year:

• April 29^th – North Inland Live Well Center
• June 24^th – East County Career Center
• August 26^th – South Region Live Well Center
• October 14^th – South Metro Career Center
• December 9^th – Location to be determined

Clinics are open to all individuals of all financial backgrounds. If you have any finance-related questions — credit/debit and savings accounts, bankruptcy, budgeting, investments, student or other personal loans, etc. — you are encouraged to schedule an appointment and attend! All information and services are FREE and lunch and childcare are both available, if needed.
