Only a force of many can take on lung cancer, the #1 cancer killer of women in the United States. Consider these eye-opening facts:

• Every five minutes, a woman in the U.S. is told she has lung cancer.
• The lung cancer death rate in women has more than doubled over the past 38 years.
• Anyone can get lung cancer.

Join the American Lung Association for an evening of hors d’oeuvres, wine, giveaways, FUNdraising ideas and inspiring stories at their LUNGFORCE Walk Kickoff Mixer on Friday, August 26th from 5:30pm-7:00pm at the Energy Innovation Center located at 4760 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92117. Come out to jump start your LUNG FORCE Walk team or just to learn more about LUNG FORCE.

The team with the most participants in attendance will win a PIZZA PARTY during the month of September! So help your team out by just showing up.

Don’t forget to bring a friend, or two! You will receive a raffle ticket every person you bring that is not yet registered for the walk for more chances to win.
