North County Health Services takes pride in collaborating with community partners and engaging with local residents about their health and well-being. They host a series of health fairs throughout the year that offer free on-site health services, including dental and blood pressure checks and blood glucose screenings. The fairs provide fun for the whole family with activities that range from face painting to book giveaways to music, food and crafts. Families can navigate through the fairs using a “passport” which provides an opportunity for visitors to engage with the activities offered at each partner’s booth.
On April 28, 2016, North County Health Services collaborated with the Ramona Community Library to celebrate Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros. On June 4, 2016, the Boys and Girls Club of Oceanside held a Summer Kick-Off and Summer Camp Sign-Up Event with North County Health Services. Through the event, over 230 Oceanside residents learned about the programs and services offered by both organizations.
