Program Develops Binational Health Leadership

The U.S.-Mexico Border Health Commission is accepting applications for the 2016 Leaders across Borders (LaB) program scheduled to begin in April 2016. Now in its sixth iteration, LaB is an advanced leadership development program designed for public health, health care, and other community-sector leaders working to improve community health in the U.S.-México border region.

LaB is made possible by support from the U.S.-México Border Health Commission (BHC), in collaboration with the Arizona Department of Health Services’ Office of Border Health; the BHC Arizona, Baja California, and Nuevo León Outreach Offices; the University of Arizona; Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey; and Secretaría de Salud de México.

This announcement may be of interest to border health partners and others in the U.S.-México border region.
