Patio Playhouse Performs Improv for Safety

On Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, Patio Playhouse participated in the Fire and Water Safety Expo at Kit Carson Park. This event not only focused on fire and life safety but also quality of life issues and offered a range of displays and activities of interest to all ages. "Off The Cuff," Patio Playhouse’s resident Improv troupe, was there to play out safety scenarios and raised interest in participants about learn more about and getting involved with the theatre. Prizes were given for answering questions, and various displays allowed visitors to participate hands-on in various related activities. A simple lunch was provided to all visitors.

This fun and free event featured fire station tours, refreshments, vehicle displays, art activities for kids, and information and resources for the community, and was sponsored by the Escondido Fire Department and Rincon del Diablo Fire Protection District. Many community members came out with their kids to enjoy the day.
