More than 300 students from the Juvenile Court & Community Schools participated in the Words Alive four-month Art and Literacy Program. Students will be reading select texts in their regular Adolescent Book Group (ABG) program sessions and then will have an opportunity to look at literacy through a different lens and find meaningful relationships with the text they are reading, the world around them, and a form of art they create.
