The California Center for the Arts Escondido hosts a variety of onsite programs to foster student growth. Through arts education outreach in schools and with local community groups, the Center provides in-person/hands-on arts education and experiences.

In fiscal year 2017-18, the Center hosted eight free community events, including:

• My Story: Literacy through the Arts.
• Our Taste of the Arts after-school enrichment.
• Center Stage: Performances for youth.
• Museum tours, art lessons, and hands-on arts activities.

Through their arts education programs, the Center served 13,947 students and 14,684 adults for a total of 28,631. Through performances, museum exhibitions, community events and resources, the Center reached 286,487 people in the 2017-18 fiscal year.
