The Arthritis Foundation, San Diego, sponsored and presented "Joint Talks" on March 10, 2016 at Sharp Grossmont Hospital Auditorium. The program was designed to further educate local Medical Doctors, the General Community, and specialist such as Rheumatologist, Orthopedic Surgeons, Physical Therapist and others on the direction of health care in San Diego.

Presenters included Mike Murphy, President and CEO of Sharp Health Care who presented an update on the impact of the Affordable Care Act on San Diego. Medical specialist.Dr. Nick Yphantides, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer, San Diego County presented on the current status of health care in San Diego County. Dr. Peter Hanson, Grossmont Orthopedic Group presented on Regenerative Medicine, Stems Cells, and Osteoarthritis. Peter Copobianco, R.PH, CVS/Care Plus Pharmacy presented on navigating prior authorizations, bio-similars, and step therapy. The presentation was to educate all on the best ways to provide the best care.
