The 2016 Aging Summit, to be held June 15, will explore livable communities and healthy aging with keynote speaker, actor Dick Van Dyke. The event will also feature subject matter experts on these topics, along with breakout sessions, resources and opportunities for participants to meet with local exhibitors. Attendees will have a chance to view a livable home and a livable community exhibit and provide their input on priorities to address as we move to become an Age Friendly Community. There will also be valuable information for family caregivers, particularly those dealing with the challenges of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Aging Summit 2016: Age Well San Diego will be held on Wednesday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (check-in from 8 to 9 a.m.) at the Town & Country Convention Center. There will be a companion site at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, where keynote speakers will be webcast.
