Adapt Functional Movement Center joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on June 25, 2019. The mission of Adapt is to enable anyone with a disabling condition to live a more fulfilled and capable life. Their goal is to create a safe and empowering community focused on adapting beyond one’s current condition or limitations so that anyone can experience their full potential of their life experience. The focus of Adapt is unique compared to most rehabilitation and recovery practices, as they aim to blend modalities and disciplines in order to provide a personalized and integrative approach for overcoming the challenges of disability.

Adapt actively works with local non-profits, businesses and organizations towards efforts in giving access to information, resources and services that support physical, mental and social health for individuals with disabling conditions. Adapt tailors individualized protocols and member experiences through a whole systems approach towards health and wellness behavior change. They are passionate about supporting opportunities for all people to build a better quality of life, and that is how Adapt Functional Movement Center is in alignment with Live Well San Diego’s vision to build better health, live safely and thrive.
