Best Start Birth Center became a Live Well San Diego Recognized Partner on August 31st, 2017. Best Start Birth Center was established in 1989 to meet the demand of women in San Diego for safe, sensitive, natural/holistic, family centered care for childbearing and well woman care. Since its establishment, over 5,000 babies have been delivered at Best Start Birth Center, and the center continuously provides Well Woman GYN care and group prenatal visits for those who desire to engage with other pregnant women in the same gestational age. The Best Start Birth Center continuously opens its doors to the public, and offers breastfeeding support to the community on a regular and free basis.
Additionally, Best Start Birth Center also offers hearing screens, Comprehensive Perinatal Services (CPSP), provide Presumptive Medi-Cal, and participate in the Paternity Opportunity Program. Best Start Birth Center is committed to advance the Live Well San Diego vision by continuing to offer a safe and holistic family centered childbearing experience for all women.
