San Diego County Breastfeeding Coalition

San Diego County Breastfeeding Coalition (SDCBFC) joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on August 5, 2014.  SDCBFC became a Live Well San Diego partner by protecting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding through education, outreach and advocacy in the San Diego community.  SDCBFC  is committing to advancing the Live Well San Diego strategic vision by offering professional development tools for healthcare professionals; providing women with access to information, resources and support to breastfeed their infants; and supporting the adoption and implementation of worksite breastfeeding policies.  SDCBFC guides San Diego County’s Community Transformation Grant Lactation Supportive Environments Activities and awards Breastfeeding Friendly businesses in San Diego that fully support and accommodate breastfeeding employees in the workplace.
