The California Dermatology and Clinical Research Institute joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on February 20th, 2019. The California Dermatology and Clinical Research Institute supports Live Well San Diego’s vision of creating safe, healthy and thriving communities. Through clinical research trials that provide the latest medical therapies for patients regardless of their insurance status. They also make it a priority to educate patients on their dermatological condition and the available treatments.
The California Dermatology and Clinical Research Institute mission is to find and use the best therapies in dermatology while supporting positive choices and providing ways in which community members can receive high quality medical advice and medication for skin conditions free from dependence or financial or insurance situation.
Since 2013, The California Dermatology and Clinical Research Institute provided qualified participants with some of the latest and most expensive dermatological medications (both investigational and FDA approved) at no financial cost, educated patients about their disease, and sustained patient health with post-study care.
California Dermatology and Clinical Research Institute is committed to advancing Live Well San Diego into the future in the following ways:
· Providing opportunities for community members to receive high quality medical advice and investigational medications for skin conditions at no cost.
· Offering free services to qualified participants such as: dermatology consultations for patients with chronic skin conditions, patient education, and post-visit or post-study care.
· Recruiting and supporting individuals that may not typically have access to promising dermatological care and medications.
