California Veterans Legal Task Force became a Live Well San Diego recognized partner on April 7, 2017. California Veterans Legal Task Force (CVLTF) has been a leader in Veterans’ legal affairs since May 2011, established the Veterans Treatment Court in San Diego and others around the state, and is the only nonprofit providing free legal services specifically designed for mentally challenged veterans. CVLTF has been a key collaborator and legal services innovator in building a comprehensive system serving San Diego County's quarter-million veterans, 115,000 active service members, and their families. CVLTF is proud to partner with the County of San Diego as a Live Well San Diego Partner!
CVLTF programs help resolve legal matters for Veterans to remove barriers to employment, housing and rehabilitation, so veterans can better access services, find support and employment, and remain crime free. With a solid statewide reputation, CVLTF works with organizations such as the VA, County of San Diego, and from the 140 veteran organizations who are members of the San Diego Veterans Coalition. CVLTF's collaboration with San Diego County represents an innovative approach to create "one stop shops" and may be unique where the County Veteran Service Offices partners with co-located nonprofits, working together to solve problems for our veterans.
CVLTF is a leader in innovative solutions to improve the lives of Veterans, active service members and their families, and is committed to the Live Well San Diego vision to build healthy, safe and thriving communities.
