Casey Family Programs joined Live Well San Diego as a Recognized Partner on January 24, 2018. A part of the national Casey Family Programs’ Child and Family Services team, the San Diego Field Office opened in 1993, and provides clinical case management for youth and families who need help attaining or maintaining permanency, and for young adults transitioning from foster care.
Casey Family Programs is the nation’s largest operating foundation focused on safely reducing the need for foster care and building Communities of Hope for children and families across America. Their mission is to provide and improve — and ultimately prevent the need for — foster care.
Casey Family Programs supports Live Well San Diego through their commitment to improve the safety and success of children and their families. The organization works in collaboration with range of public, private, tribal and community partners to support practices and policies that increase the safety and success of children and strengthen the resilience of families and ultimately reduce the need for foster care by 50 percent by the year 2020.
