ElderHelp of San Diego joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on December 5, 2015. For more than 40 years, ElderHelp has been fulfilling its mission to provide personalized services at no cost to help seniors in the County remain independent and live with dignity in their own homes.
Each senior receives assistance on a customized basis with experienced social workers and carefully vetted and trained volunteers. Transportation volunteers provide seniors critical access to medical appointments, as well as opportunities to connect with the outside world through shopping and social activities. The variety of programs and services offered by ElderHelp support seniors to thrive throughout the aging process.
ElderHelp will continue to incorporate the principles of Live Well San Diego into the work they do by promoting and supporting healthy choices, safe environments and increasing their reach to seniors who would not otherwise have the resources to continue living in the homes and communities they know and love.
