HealthRIGHT 360 joined Live Well San Diego as a Recognized Partner on May 30, 2019. Established in 1967, HealthRIGHT 360’s mission is to give hope, build health, and changes the lives of people in need through compassionate, integrated care. They work in 13 communities throughout California, with two programs in San Diego County: North County Serenity House, located in Escondido and Oceanside, and Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming (STOP) Area 6, located in San Diego.

North County Serenity House provides a gender-responsive and trauma-informed environment, using evidence-based and best practices that recognize and account for the role that trauma frequently plays in substance use and criminal histories of women. For participants with co-occurring mental illness, integrated substance use and mental health services are provided which treat both conditions as the primary condition. North County Serenity House’s outpatient facility serves women and parenting teenagers as well as children in their co-op daycare. Serenity Village houses women with or without children in a sober free environment and provides opportunities for creating their own community through what they have learned in treatment programs.

STOP Program Area Six connects California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation inmates and parolees to comprehensive, evidence-based substance use disorder programming and re-entry support services through subcontracted community based providers during their transition into the community. Priority is given to participants who are within their first year of release and who are considered to be at moderate to high risk of reoffending.  Case Managers monitor levels of care and participant progress towards meeting treatment plan goals, providing-support, acting as a liaison with their parole agent, assisting them with their transitional plans and providing linkages to resources they may need.
