Just In Time Foster Youth (JIT) County joined Live Well San Diego as a Recognized Partner on August 7, 2016. JITs mission is to engage a caring community to help transition-age foster youth achieve self-sufficiency and well-being. Mobilizing the community to give youth what they need most - an extended family, makes JIT unique.
Serving 600 youth per year, ages 18-26 can not be accomplished alone. About 600 volunteers who help with group such as schools, businesses, faith and civic organizations, support the vision of JIT - a future in which every youth leaving the foster care system has a community of caring adults waiting for them after 18. JIT believes consistent, long-term help from the heart is the foundation for the success of our youth so they can thrive and enjoy productive, satisfying lives.
Just In Time Foster Youth is fully committed to the Live Well San Diego vision and supports a thriving community by offering services to youth and families that align with health, safety, and improved overall well-being.
