March of Dimes joined Live Well San Diego as a Recognized Partner on April 28, 2018. A national nonprofit organization that helps mothers and babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality, March of Dimes works in collaboration to develop innovative breakthroughs that fight these problems at their source and in the community.
Through research, education, vaccines and advocacy, March of Dimes is committed to ensuring that every mom and baby are health. They support research to understand all the causes of prematurity, and support and train local NICU staffs. They also focused on health equity and help support undeserved communities particularly impacted by high rates of prematurity and/or lack of medical access and education.
