San Diego Diplomacy Council

San Diego Diplomacy Council joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on April 4^th 2017. The San Diego Diplomacy Council became a Live Well San Diego partner by bringing leaders from all over the world to address challenges in their communities, cities, regions and countries. They build global relationships and expand mutual understanding by arranging professional, educational and cultural exchanges, connecting the community and business leaders in the San Diego region with their counterparts around the world to address common challenges including citizen safety, economic opportunity, social justice and environmental sustainability.

San Diego Diplomacy Council is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization and one of over 90 nationwide organizations designated by the State Department to deliver programs that allow San Diego to connect and participate in the international sphere and extend its influence around the globe. Their mission is to create a global and local impact upon the individuals that participate in these programs by:

• Providing emerging leaders the equipment to solve increasingly complex challenges facing our interconnected world.
• Preparing young international professionals and entrepreneurs to be competitive in the global workforce.
• Enhancing our national interests overseas by building better relationships with world leaders.
• Promoting cross-cultural engagement and challenge negative perceptions of United States overseas.
