San Diego Family Magazine (SDFM) has been committed to enhancing the health and well-being of San Diego County families for more than 30 years, by providing information and resources to local parents that support the importance and pleasure of parenting.
Articles in the monthly magazine and at www.SanDiegoFamily.com empower moms and dads to become better parents through the column Parenting with Purpose, and articles that address how to identify early childhood red flags, managing screen time and social media, how to handle sibling conflict, single parenting, teaching kids time management, the importance of growth mindset and much more. Education articles span from how to choose a preschool to identifying a child’s learning style and taking the SAT. Family health and well-being from a mother’s pregnancy through the child's teen years are the focus at SDFM.
In addition, San Diego Family Magazine established Special Needs Resource Foundation of San Diego (SNRFSD) in 2014, a nonprofit organization that supports San Diego's special needs community. SNRFSD is honored to meet the needs of this community by providing extensive resources, emailing relevant articles via a bi-monthly eNewsletter, publishing Flourishing Families (an annual publication specifically for families with special needs), and by hosting a fun annual event that is free for the public to attend, the All-Inclusive Day of Play & Resource Fair.
