Urban Surf 4 Kids is a San Diego County-based nonprofit organization that serves children and youth ages 3-18 years old who are: adopted, living in foster care, kinship care, experiencing or transitioning out of homelessness, and kids who are overcoming the effects of abuse, neglect, abandonment and other childhood trauma. Mission Statement We provide opportunities for healing and empowerment through surf therapy, mentorship, and life skills achievement programs for youth in foster and at-risk communities. Our Vision We are using the power of surf and Ohana "our family" to empower youth who have experienced complex trauma to become independent adults, leaders in the community, and champions for the environment.
