The San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on September 13, 2018. The mission of the Chamber is to advocate for improving business opportunities, public policy and business relationships throughout San Diego County.” The Chamber is connected to a variety of sectors in the community including healthcare, businesses, education, and local military. The Chamber supports the local community through advocacy, informational resources and networking opportunities.
The Chamber’s Health Fair Saturday are examples of community events designed to bring awareness to health and wellness resources available for residents of all ages. The Chamber is also active in coordinating San Diego East County Task Force which is a grassroots effort to develop solutions to reduce homelessness by working with all sectors of our communities. Thanks to partnerships with the local high school districts, college districts and the workforce and economic development councils the Chamber is working to improve our workforce and connect job seekers with great careers!
