Facilitating Access to Coordinated Transportation, Inc (FACT) joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on December 12, 2013. FACT became a Live Well San Diego partner by advocating for and working to improve community mobility in San Diego County. FACT was designated by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) as the Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA) for San Diego County to facilitate coordination of transportation services in San Diego County to reduce gaps in transportation. FACT’s RideFACT transportation service and the transportation referral services promote improved health and wellbeing by providing access to medical and quality of life services to those with barriers to mobility. In 2013, FACT was awarded the CalACT Outstanding Coordinated Transportation Program Award. FACT continues to be dedicated to providing transportation solutions to residents in need and will be embarking on a Military and Veterans Partnership to integrate transportation services with human service programs focusing on veteran and military families.
