SAN DIEGO greater REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on November 21, 2013. The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce (SDRCC) is the largest Chamber of Commerce in the western United States, with more than 3,000 members representing 400,000 employees. SDRCC plays a crucial role in advancing the health, safety and wellness of its members’ employees. The Chamber has been proactive in educating and helping prepare its members to deal with the evolving health care policy environment with national health care reform taking place in 2014. The Regional Chamber of Commerce aims to remain the most influential business network, advocate and resource for growing commerce in the San Diego region and as such is committed to providing valuable resources to its members that include health and wellness education. The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce has committed to advancing the Live Well San Diego initiative in ways that align with key strategies, such as promoting the Love Your Heart campaign to members, providing information to medium and large businesses on worksite wellness, collaborating with the County on a wellness toolkit for small businesses, and asking members to complete self-assessments and enact supportive policies.
