Neighborhood House Association (NHA) joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on November 18, 2015. Founded in 1914, NHA has grown from a settlement house assisting immigrants transitioning into San Diego to distinguishing itself as a cutting-edge comprehensive human service provider. NHA employs over 800 team members and touches the lives of approximately 20,000 San Diego families a year through a network of 13 programs (including education, nutrition, healthcare, employment services, mental health services, youth programs and senior services) in more than 120 locations.
NHA is aligned to the Live Well San Diego vision, integrating physical activity into their programming, supporting positive choices for their employees, addressing mental health and behavioral health needs through various programs, and providing thousands of tasty and nutrient-dense meals to children and seniors through their Central Kitchen.
As a Live Well San Diego recognized partner, the Neighborhood House Association will continue their vision of developing confident, self-sufficient, healthy families and communities.
