Center for community solutions

Center for Community Solutions (CCS) joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on February 28, 2018. Founded in 1969, the non-profit organization’s mission is to end relationship and sexual violence by being a catalyst for caring communities and social justice. The vision of Center for Community Solutions is for all people to live full, free, expressive and empowered lives in a safe, vibrant, healthy and peaceful community. Center for Community Solutions provides a wide variety of trauma informed and accessible services that aim to eliminate societal conditions that condone and perpetuate relationship violence, sexual assault, and stalking as well as to promote safety, justice and healing for those impacted by these crimes. Some of these include prevention and education, 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, legal services and emergency shelter. Each year over 21,000 individuals are served by Center for Community Solutions. 

The organization’s array of programs and services provide survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence with practical, tangible tools and the shelter they need to regain confidence and supports Live Well San Diego’s vision for healthy, safe and thriving communities.
