Many DPPs in San Diego use the National DPP Program curriculum. This is an evidence-based and cost-effective program. It has been developed for people with prediabetes to prevent type 2 diabetes. People with prediabetes who make lifestyle changes through the DPP can cut the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by more than half.
