With the vision to be a premier provider of innovative healthcare in North San Diego County and South Riverside, TrueCare became a recognized Live Well San Diego partner on February 11, 2014. TrueCare has 14 state-of-the-art health centers across North County and South Riverside that serve around 60,000 patients each year providing quality medical services at low to no-cost. The passionate organization believes everyone has the right to health care, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay . In addition, TrueCare offers programs and resources such as diabetes support groups, transportation to appointments and help enrolling in health care coverage, all with the goal of letting the community know they are a compassionate, culturally sensitive place for people who have nowhere else to get quality medical attention and receive support.
TrueCare supports Live Well San Diego through their recognition as a ‘Patient-Centered Medical Home’, a distinguished accreditation granted through the National Committee for Quality Assurance. TrueCare is committed to engaging patients directly in their medical care through adopting a patient-focused culture that empowers patients and health care providers and staff to make positive choices for healthy outcomes, which align with Live Well San Diego. In addition to health services (medical, dental/pediatric dental, behavioral health, women’s health, chiropractic, acupuncture), TrueCare actively builds and sustains partnerships that promote community health and wellness as demonstrated through participation on the North County Community Leadership Team for Live Well San Diego.
