The San Diego Blood Bank become a recognized Live Well San Diego partner during the 31st Annual San Diego County Blood Drive on April 1, 2015.  The San Diego Blood Bank is a non-profit organization with a mission to save lives with quality blood services in partnership with the community.  The San Diego Blood Bank is the number one blood collection agency for the San Diego region, collecting 400 units of donated blood to meet hospital patient needs every day.

San Diego Blood Bank is committed to continuing to advance Live Well San Diego by providing health education for donors which include online service to donors to help them keep track of health information such as cholesterol levels.
